Internationally, we collaborate with the Playing for Change Foundation, whose logistical and financial support helps us bring high-quality music education to underserved communities. Within Pakistan, we work closely with Allah Walay Trust, enabling us to deliver music lessons to dozens of schools across the country.
On the artistic side, Surtaal has collaborated with iconic platforms such as Coke Studio, Nescafe Basement, Velo Studio, and several others—giving our students invaluable opportunities to grow professionally and perform on renowned stages.

MEET SURTAAL DIRECTOR ZIA UL-HAQ
With a degree of Master’s in Musicology, Zia has devoted himself to producing the next generation of artists in Pakistan. He runs Surtaal Music Academy in Lahore, where students from underprivileged background are taught for free. He regularly works with artists like Xulfi, Noori, Sanam Marvi, and many more. He has also served as voice coach for the famous program Nescafe Basement. Zia is offering online classes to spread his knowledge throughout the world.
